Armenian national footballer donates gifts to 15 families in Karabakh

STEPANAKERT. – Ruben Hayrapetyan, President of the Football Federation of Armenia, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, leading member of Armenia’s national football team and of  FC Shakhtar Donetsk, in Ukraine, were guests of the 5th Conference of the Union of War Veterans of Artsakh (Karabakh), which kicked off in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s (NKR) capital, Stepanakert.

Also, Hayrapetyan was awarded the Defender of the Homeland Medal, and Mkhitaryan, the NKR PM’s commemorative medal, Armenian’s special correspondent informed from Stepanakert.   

And along the lines of his charity visit to Artsakh, Henrikh Mkhitaryan donated refrigerators, television sets, and washing machines to fifteen families from different regions of Karabakh. 

And in an interview with Armenian’s correspondent, Mkhitaryan noted that, after carrying out charity work past year, he clearly acknowledged that there still are many people in Artsakh who need help, and that is why it was decided to visit Karabakh this year, too
