Criminal case launched upon incident in Karabakh military unit

YEREVAN. - In Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army’s Yeghnikner military unit an incident happened on Wednesday due to which conscript, Narek Avetisyan, 18, from Ejmiatsin lost his sight from a chain strike.

A criminal case has been launched. MOD Investigation Department’s Public Relations Senior Officer Meri Sargsyan informed Armenian

As she informs, due to evidence from Karabakh Stepanakert police station, a criminal case has been launched in Armenia’s MOD Investigation department on Friday.

There have not been any arrests yet, but will be soon, she informed.
