Knesset’s committee on education, culture and sport will gather once again to continue debates on the issues related to recognition of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, said committee’s head Alex Miller summing up the Monday debate.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin, chairman of parliamentary coalition Zeev Elkin, MPs Uri Orbach, Zahava Gal-On, Arieh Eldad, Otniel Schneller, academicians, representative of Israeli Foreign Ministry and the Armenian National Committee were present at the debates, IzRus reported.

The majority of attendees, including Speaker Reuven Rivlin, supported recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
