YEREVAN. – The passing year was a successful and creative one for the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre after A. Spendiaryan, head of the Theatre Kamo Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

In response to the report whether the approach to the Armenian audience is changed towards classical art, Hovhannisyan said that it is necessary to go a bit deep in the history. Armenia experienced difficult period for 20 years. However, state’s support is felt recently, theatre lives renaissance.

“I see more young people who come to watch our performances,” he concluded.
