ANKARA. – Turkish Yasin Hayal, blamed for organizing the assassination of the chief editor of Agos Armenian newspaper in Istanbul, Hrank Dink, claimed during a court trial on the case that he is threatened in the jail.

During the trial he passed a folded to the judge and asked for a speech. He claimed that he is under death threat and the Turkish state wants to exterminate him, Turkish Bianet website reports.

In response to the lawyers’ question who made him organize Dink’s assassination, he told that he does not know the names but said to turn to Erhan Tuncel (the one who directed Dink’s assassination).

To note, Hrant Dink killer Ogün Samast said that Yasin Hayal has directed him for the murder.
