YEREVAN. –The main point of Armenia’s foreign policy is the membership to the Council of Europe. As a result of that many European values have been implanted in the Armenian nation over the recent years, MP of the ruling Republican Party Karen Avagyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The MP thinks that some years later the Armenian nation will be a true holder of European values.
“By saying European values first of all I mean those values that are to solve issues of human rights concerning such fields as elections. Today Armenia is understandable and perceptible for many developed countries as it is a holder of European values,” Avagyan mentioned.
To remind, Armenia became a member of the Council of Europe on January 25, 2001.
