YEREVAN. – Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian paid a working visit to Lithuania, on Thursday, and had several meetings.  

During Nalbandian’s meeting with Lithuanian PM Andrius Kubilius, they noted the dynamic development of relations in the recent years, and the opening of Armenia’s Embassy in Vilnius, MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am

The interlocutors discussed bilateral relations, the economic cooperation, and the creation of ties between the businessmen of the two countries.  

They also exchanged view on Armenia-EU relations, and the regional matters in the South Caucasus.

Next, Armenian FM met with his Lithuanian counterpart Audronius Azubalis.

The two FMs arranged this year’s bilateral visit timetable, and exchanged views on the latest developments in the Karabakh peace process.

After the meeting, the governments of Armenia and Lithuania signed the agreement on cultural cooperation. 

On the same day, Edward Nalbandian also met with Ceslovas Jursenas, Deputy Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas (Parliament), Algis Kaseta, chairman of the Armenia-Lithuania Parliamentary Friendship Group, and MPs of the Seimas.      

They discussed the Armenian-Lithuanian parliamentary cooperation, and the activities of the parliamentary friendship groups.  

Ending his visit to Lithuania, FM Edward Nalbandian returned to Armenia.
