MOSCOW. – Tbilisi will not make part of possible anti-Iranian military operations and moreover, will not provide its territory for it, experts at Moscow Carnegie Center Andrey Ryabov said at the conference of Caucasus Journalists Network adding it refers not only to Russia.

“I believe not a single state in the South Caucasus, including Georgia, is interested in war against Iran for one simple reason: Iran will always find way to respond it. Not necessary through attacks, but Tehran will find other measures to destabilize the situation in that state,” Ryabov said.

The expert noted in case Georgia is somehow engaged in operations against Iran, Moscow will get advantage of it for further military buildup in the neighboring countries and regions of Georgia.

“The official explanation will be the following: Tbilisi provided its territory for attacking Iran, later it may attack Russia,” the expert said.
