YEREVAN. – Armenian State Budget-2012 does not consider amounts for printing entry visas into Armenia, Armenian MFA report reads. The Ministry asks AMD 65 million ($170,000) from the reserve fund to produce the visa stamps. The issue is included on the Thursday’s session of the Government. 

Citizens of Russia, CIS states and Argentina do not need entry visas, according to intergovernmental agreement on mutual visa-free travel.

However, citizens of other states do need to have entry visas. It can be stamped at the Armenian Embassies in foreign states, at the Zvartnots airport and checkpoints on the border with Georgia. Entry visa on the border costs AMD 3,000 ($8) for 21 days (touristic) and AMD 15,000 ($40) for 120 days for multi entries.
