YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania, Ara Ayvazyan, met on Thursday with Lithuania’s National Defense Minister Rasa Jukneviciene, and they discussed Armenian-Lithuanian relations. 

The interlocutors reflected on the friendly relations between Armenia and Lithuania, expressed a satisfaction in connection with the partnership between the defense ministries of the two countries, and underscored the need to deepen interdepartmental cooperation, MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

The parties also discussed foreign and regional issues, and international security matters.

Also, Rasa Jukneviciene presented Lithuania’s activities within the framework of international organizations, and the Baltic states’ cooperation with Scandinavia in the defense sector.   

Armenia’s ambassador conveyed to Ms. Jukneviciene Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan’s invitation to visit Armenia, and the Lithuanian minister gladly accepted the invitation.
