YEREVAN. – Railway communication between Yerevan and Tbilisi will be resumed on Tuesday. Those passengers who could not get to Tbilisi on Feb. 10 and 12 can leave on Tuesday, spokesperson for the South Caucasus Railway Vahe Davtyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As to lack of the tickets, Davtyan said that no such problem exists at the moment. If necessary, the company will add a carriage. Besides, he added that Jajur-Mayisyan railway section has not been cleaned from snow yet.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am has informed earlier, due to difficult weather conditions at the Jajur-Mayisyan railway section, the Yerevan-Tbilisi train’s departure from Yerevan Station was delayed on Friday night. Consequently, the train’s passengers had to spend the night in the train cars.

The aforesaid train finally departed from Yerevan on Saturday morning. However, reaching Gyumri the train had to return back to Yerevan.
