YEREVAN. – A symposium devoted to Armenia’s socioeconomic development was held Wednesday at the Eurasia International University in the capital Yerevan. The event brought together representatives from the country’s eleven educational institutions, NGO officials, and members of the business community, who had authored the symposium’s more than forty reports.

These reports were on the strategy for Armenia’s material production and social sector development. The discussants specifically focused on improving the country’s economic balance between exports and imports.

And by the decision of the symposium’s organization committee, the proposals and rationalizations made in the reports will be summarized and presented for the examination and implementation by the relevant state agencies.
