YEREVAN. – Armenia’s former FM Vartan Oskanian’s membership in the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) was expected, the coalition’s Rule of Law Party Chairman and National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan stated during a press conference on Wednesday. 

“A lot was said and spoken about this, and that is why this step was expected,” Baghdasaryan said.

And in response to the query as to whether PAP would transform from an oligarchic party into a political force, Arthur Baghdasaryan said: “It will be incorrect for me to make any comments about my colleagues. Prosperous Armenia itself will better answer such questions of yours.”
