YEREVAN. – Amount of transfers made over $75 million this January, Central Bank of Armenia report reads.

The top months are considered to be July and December when the transfers exceed steadily $120 million. Anyway, the index for January is higher as compared to the same period of last years. In the meantime, it made $67 million last January. Majority of transfers were sent from Russia, making $60.7 million, as compared to $52.5 million last year. In the meantime, transfers made $5.1 million from the U.S. as compared to $4.5 million in 2011. Transfers from other state are not significant.
