MOSCOW. – Armenian deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan and Russian Minister of Territorial Development Victor Basargin discussed on Tuesday cooperation between both ministries and development of relation between regions of both states.

The sides touched upon the first session of the Armenian-Russian working group on inter-regional cooperation held on Mar. 13 in Gyumri within the frameworks of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Armenia and Russia, ministry’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides spoke on holding the second Armenian-Russian inter-regional conference, which will promote the development of mutually beneficial relations. The conference will be preceded by a round-table discussion to set its agenda by the representatives of both Ministries.

The sides also discussed issues related to activities of the CIS Council on inter-regional and close-border cooperation.
