YEREVAN. – Russian Academy of Sciences Academician, oncologist Levon Mkrtchyan has created a vaccine that prevents cancer, Azg weekly reported.

‘“During testing, it became clear that the vaccine not solely enhances the natural anticancer immunity, but contributes to prevent cancer to some extent.  

‘“Thanks to the vaccine, not only will cancer be prevented, but metastases will not emerge after the cancer surgery, when the small tumor is removed, [and] there will be improvement with radiation treatment,’ [Mkrtchyan specifically said].

“The vaccine will receive state registration in Russia in 2015, [and] there is permission to use it in Russia. But state registration is also necessary for it to be sold,” Azg wrote.
