YEREVAN. – Founding president of the Armenian Institute of International and Security Affairs, political analyst Stiopa Safaryan, speaking to Zhamanak daily, expressed a conviction that there will be new splits within Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party, reported the daily.

‘“After 2012, unfortunately, the party took the road of forming a very unstable alliance. (…). The process deepened, continued, and it still has not reached its end. (…). [But] Heritage likewise created grounds in connection to this,’ he [i.e. Safaryan] added,” wrote Zhamanak.

To note, Ruben Hakobyan recently announced about quitting the Heritage Party and stepping down as head of the “Heritage” National Assembly Faction.
