U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder calling to recapture Zareh Manjikian, primary suspect in murder of 19-year-old Mike Yepremyan, writes Armenian Azg newspaper.

Mike Yepremyan was murdered in November 2009 after a scuffle in a North Hollywood parking lot. The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the case. After an 18 month investigation, a primary suspect was identified and located in Puerto Rico. Zareh Manjikian, was captured by U.S. Marshals in May 2011, and placed in Puerto Rican custody.

Later local judges released Manjikian after he posted a bail. His location is currently unknown.

“I ask you to use the full powers of your office to assist in the recapture of Mr. Manjikian, wherever he may be, and to bring him to justice,” the letter reads.
