YEREVAN. – Armenian businessman MP Samvel Aleksanyan (a.k.a. Lfik Samo) confesses that he frequently goes to Dubai during the year, but it became evident that he wants to go to America very much, Irates De Facto biweekly writes.  

“According to well-informed sources, the oligarch is applying to the US Embassy, for several years now, to receive a visa, but to no avail. That is, they do not grant a visa to Aleksanyan perhaps because the ‘monopolist’ label scares them, too. There was [even] a time when Samvel Aleksanyan loved to sit beside [opposition] Heritage [Party Parliamentary] Faction MPs. During those ‘blissful’ days the businessman was periodically making a suggestion-request to the Faction’s MPs to petition so he may be allowed to go to US. But he was not lucky here either; they were rejecting the oligarch. Perhaps winning a Green Card is the last hope for the proprietor of a huge supermarket chain,” Irates De Facto writes.
