YEREVAN. – There is no tragedy in the fact that the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC) will collapse as soon as ANC leader, and First President, Levon Ter-Petrosyan leaves, Hayots Ashkharh daily reports.

“Simply, yet another Tower of Babel was destroyed. [But] They will attempt to construct new buildings from its pieces, and it will be interesting to see what will be the result. It has always been like this in history, and there is no need to take pity.

We should concurrently take notice that the other [political] opposition forces were very apathetic toward the demise of the ANC. What can you do? You die today, and I will die tomorrow. Such attitude is characteristic of all the political forces, albeit they have different views even on the multiplication table.

But who will build what from the pieces of the [‘Armenian’] Tower of Babel? That is the question,” Hayots Ashkharh writes.
