YEREVAN. – In an interview with Aravot daily, David Berdzenishvili, the leader of the ruling majority Georgian Dream-Republicans Faction of the Georgian parliament, reflected on Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian’s visit to Georgia, which kicked off Monday, and on Armenian-Georgian relations.
‘“The interactions between Armenia and Georgia are on a decent level, regardless of which [political] parties govern the states. These relations were good during the Soviet era, too, albeit there are numerous problems in the South Caucasus, including between Armenia and Azerbaijan, [and] Russia and Georgia.
Armenian-Georgian relations have always maintained a very high level. As far as I know, the Georgian PM’s visit [to Armenia in January] was productive, and it should be continued as such; I do not see any specific problem here,’ he noted,” Aravot reports.
