YEREVAN. – In an interview with Aravot daily, Armenia’s National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan responded to PM Tigran Sargsyan’s explanations concerning the offshore scandal, the daily reports.

“I believe the explanations will be comprehensive when the Prosecutor’s Office carries out actions, based on the request of the PM, and gives a comprehensive explanation.  

“In addition, a criminal case is opened, a search is declared, and the solving of this criminal case will answer many questions.

“Personally, I have no reason to disbelieve the PM of our country. First, [because] he is the PM of Armenia. Second, he has made a [respective] statement, petitioned to law enforcement agencies, [and] a criminal case is launched. Let us wait for their results,” Aravot quotes.
