YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily reflected on Armenia’s foreign policy; specifically, to the opening of embassies in a variety of countries.

“Yesterday [i.e., Monday] we received new information from within the MFA. It appears significant changes are expected in the near future in Armenia’s diplomatic corps. [But] there will not be changes solely in the diplomatic corps of CIS countries.

“And Tatul Margaryan, who is Armenia’s Ambassador to USA since 2005, will be replaced.

“The Law on Diplomatic Service does not permit working as ambassador forever. As a rule, the ambassadors are rotated, [and] returned to the homeland.

“But this rule is not always applied and not for every one. Margaryan has basically exceeded all limits and he must return [to Armenia],” Hraparak writes.
