YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily has learned from well-informed sources that a significant change is expected within Armenia’s diplomatic corps in a foreseeable future, the daily reports.     

“[President] Serzh Sargsyan plans to dismiss Oleg Yesayan, Armenia’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation [RF]. 

“According to the same sources, the candidacy of 47-year old Vardan Toghanyan, Director of Eurasian Media Company, is discussed for the office of Armenia’s ambassador to the RF. By the way, he is considered the candidate of the youth wing of the Office of the President.      

“[But] Zhoghovurd was unable to get any official comment in this connection,” Zhoghovurd writes.
