“For example, they planned to buy four paper shredders, two TV sets, a refrigerator, and three sedan-type vehicles.
“The Government has also planned to buy furniture worth 1.6 million drams [approx. $3,888], also, ten armchairs, two small sofas, [and] furniture sets.
“Incidentally, the protocol services have a special place in the expenses of the executive [branch of power]; they planned to spend more than $250,000 for this objective.
“[But] in all this, perhaps the most incomprehensible is the need to buy four paper shredders,” Zhoghovurd writes.
