YEREVAN. – While the President of Armenia speaks about raising salaries in a variety of domains, it turns out that this problem also exists in his own structure, and there is no lack of protesters, Irates De Facto newspaper reports.

“During a talk with us, some employees of the Office of the President became frank [and said] that the name sounds good, [but] in reality there is nothing ‘underneath.’

“[But] the employees of the [presidential] departments and services do not dare to raise this [matter], since they will have problems with their immediate supervisors.

“Moreover, they claimed that even [President] Serzh Sargsyan is not aware that his subordinates are dissatisfied with their salaries, since the heads of the services, the departments do not wish to overburden the leader of the country with this ‘minor’ matter,” Irates De Facto writes.
