YEREVAN. – Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs on Armenia Axel Fischer and Alan Meale will arrive in Armenia next week, Zhoghovurd daily reported.  

“The last time the PACE co-rapporteurs had visited Armenia was in January 2012. In actual fact, Armenia continues to remain under PACE monitoring. 

 “Armenia’s commitments to PACE, the course of implementation of the PACE resolutions, the future trends of the ongoing reforms, [and] the protection of human rights [in Armenia] are expected to be discussed [with the country’s officials and the parliamentary factions],” Zhoghovurd wrote.
