The polls being publicized say nothing about the reality. The results of a survey conducted by an American organization were published this month. If you pay attention, it is written that 16 percent of people answered the questions, which is a very low standard. Nerses Gevorgyan, an MP candidate from the National Democratic Pole (NDP) party of Armenia, stated this in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am on Friday.

Gevorgyan noted that the NDP is holding meetings with citizens within the framework of the parliamentary election campaign, on Saturday they are planning a big meeting with the residents of Gyumri city, and on Sunday they will travel with motorcade to Vagharshapat city—better known as Ejmiatsin, to meet with voters there.

“In our assessment, anything can happen in these [parliamentary] elections, any turn is possible. As for the mood of the public, yes, [PM Nikol] Pashinyan’s [election campaign] propaganda is somehow able to influence the mood of the people through manipulation, but we see that a significant number of people clearly support us,” Gevorgyan added.

He noted that at the moment, discussions are underway in the NDP regarding a closing large rally, but they have not yet made a final decision.

The first three names on the electoral list of the National Democratic Pole party of Armenia are Gevorg Karapetyan, Gevorg Safaryan, and Armenuhi Sakhoyan.

The parliamentary election campaign in Armenia began on May 8 and will continue until June 5 inclusive. Voting will take place on June 7. Sixteen parties and two blocs are participating in the elections.
