For the Republic party's prime ministerial candidate, Arman Babajanyan, answered reporters' questions after voting in Sunday’s parliamentary elections in Armenia.

Babajanyan noted that he cast his vote for the Republic, changes, and the formation of a strong counterbalance in Armenia.

He noted with a figurative comparison that two pillars are necessary for the progress of the state: "It is impossible to move forward with one foot; the most you can do is jump on the spot."

According to him, for the development of Armenia, it is important not only to have a legitimate and strong authorities, but also to form an influential and principled opposition that will be able to ensure the accountability and transparency of the government during the implementation of judicial, educational, and economic reforms.
