A bomb threat was reported at the building of the Bulgarian presidency, local media reported.
Employees of the building were temporarily evacuated and returned to their offices after a security check.
The Ministry of Interior also received emails claiming that explosive devices had been planted at institutions in Sofia, Varna, and Burgas. Police said that no suspicious items were found.
Earlier this month, bomb threat messages were sent for several consecutive days to government institutions in almost all regional centers of Bulgaria.
