At least 5,208 people were killed in the earthquakes that struck Venezuela in late June, the country's parliamentary speaker Jorge Rodriguez said on Monday.
Thus, over the past 24 hours, the death toll has risen by 89 people, EFE news agency reports.
The number of injured has remained unchanged for several weeks at about 16,700.
