A leopard entered a village house in India and injured six people, The Times of India reports.
A leopard entered a house in the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh State late on Saturday night and attacked six members of a family, according to the report.
The family managed to trap the animal in one of the rooms.
Police, forest officials, and rescue workers arrived at the scene, tranquilized the leopard and took it out of the house.
All the injured were hospitalized, with three of them seriously injured.
A day before this incident, a leopard had attacked a man in a nearby forest. It is not yet known whether it was the same animal.
