The Polish and US military departments have signed an agreement to provide Warsaw with $4 billion in loan guarantees under the Foreign Military Financing program, the Polish defense ministry informed on X.

According to Polish Deputy Prime Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, this is the sixth loan agreement for the purchase of American weapons under the Foreign Military Financing program.

And according to US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Thomas DiNanno, the amount of military loans provided by Washington to Warsaw has reached $20 billion.

The US is Poland's main defense partner.

Warsaw buys F-35 fighter jets, 96 Apache AH-64 attack helicopters, aviation missiles, Abrams tanks, as well as Patriot air defense systems from the American side.
