Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he intends to speak about New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and defend the actions of Israeli soldiers during his upcoming speech to the UN General Assembly, reports The Times of Israel.

In a video message released one day before he takes off for the UN General Assembly in New York, Netanyahu accused Mamdani of supporting the Palestinian Hamas movement and inciting violence against Jews in the city. “Shame on you, Mr. Mamdani,” Netanyahu says in the video.

“Shame on you for supporting the Hamas terrorist monsters who butchered our people,” Netanyahu says. “Shame on you for inciting riots against New York Jews.” “I am coming to the UN,” he continues. “I’m going to tell the truth about our heroic soldiers. And I’m going to tell the truth about you.”

The New York mayor had said he would seek Netanyahu’s arrest as a suspected war criminal if he showed up in the city, but later admitted that he lacked the authority to do so.
