YEREVAN. – Armenian Ministry of Justice held on Tuesday a council session, where two judges were subjected to disciplinary charges. Based on this, the Justice Council has decided to subject the First Instance Court judge at the Armenia’s Aragatsotn Region Goharik Khachatrayn to a warning, while First Instance Court judge at Yerevan’s Erebuni and Nubarashen districts Alexander Merangulyan a strict warning along with deprivation of the salary by 25 percent for a year.
The Justice Council’s decisions on subjecting the judges to disciplinary charges will be published within 15 days in accordance with the Article 163, paragraph 2 of the Judicial Code.
