YEREVAN. – State Hydro meteorological service at the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations presents the weather forecast for August.

Ararat, Armavir and Aragatsotn regions: average temperature +24 +26 C, which can go up to +37 +38 C in separate days, while go down at night to +15 +17 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal. 

Shirak, Kotayk, Gegharkunik and Aragatsotn mountainous regions: average temperature +15 +18 C, which can go up to +28 +32 C in separate days, while go down at night to +3 +6 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal with positive deviations.

Lori Region: average temperature-+16 +19 C, which can go up to +25 +30 C in separate days, while go down at night to +4 +8 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal with positive deviations.

Tavush Region: average temperature +18 +22 C, which can go up to +29 +34 C in separate days, while go down at night to +5 +10 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal with positive deviations.

Vayots Dzor Region: average temperature +24 +26 C (in valleys), while +17 +19 C (in mountainous regions). In separate days, temperature may go up to +35 +36 C in valleys, while in mountainous regions to +25 +28 C. Temperature will go down in valleys at night to +13 +16 C and in mountainous regions to +4 +8 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal.

Syunik Region: average temperature +23 +26 C (in valleys), while +17 +19 C (in mountainous regions). In separate days, temperature may go up to +35 +36 C in valleys, while in mountainous regions to +25 +30 C. Temperature will go down in valleys at night to +13 +17 C and in mountainous regions to +5 +8 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal.

Yerevan: average temperature +24 +25 C, which can go up to +35 +36 C in separate days, while go down at night to +13 +15 C in the second half of the month. Monthly precipitations are expected to be normal.
