New Goojje search engine was launched in China similar to Google after the latter announced it would pull out of the country.
The logo of a new search sounds like a play on Google’s Chinese name “Gu Ge,” substituting “jie,” the Chinese word for older sister, for “ge” – that means older brother, The Globe and Mail website reports.
“Sister was very happy when brother gave up the thought of leaving and stayed for sister,” the inscription on the website reads, mocking Google’s decision to leave the country.
