YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party National Assembly Faction Secretary, ARF Supreme Body Deputy Representative Aghvan Vardanyan voted for change,

Vardanyan said the abovementioned after casting his ballot in Sunday’s capital city Yerevan Council elections.

In Vardanyan’s words, he voted so that the people may be free and independent, and be confident that they are the masters of their vote.

Speaking about the chances in this election, he informed that they are receiving reports on election violations ever since Saturday night and are passing these reports to the Police.

“We hope there will be a corresponding response. But I believe that the citizens know what is happening and election bribe should not have a major impact in Yerevan city. [But] the dependency of the public sector workers, the colored pens, the folding [of the ballot] in a special way are greater. These are the perilous [things], and I believe our citizenry will make the right decision,” Aghvan Vardanyan hoped.
