YEREVAN. – Opposition Armenian National Congress  Party’s (ANCP) capital city Yerevan mayoral candidate, former Mayor Vahagn Khachatryan voted to fulfill the ANCP’s slogan of “Power to the Citizen.”  

Khachatryan noted the abovementioned after having cast his ballot in Sunday’s Yerevan Council of Elders election. 

He noted that he attaches great hopes on Yerevan. 

“I am convinced that Yerevan will become the most beautiful city we all have dreamt of, and we will not even think about leaving Yerevan,” Khachatryan said.  

He added that they will achieve quite high results.

“Our [vote] percentage will be high and the election violations will be numerous,” Vahagn Khachatryan concluded.
