Tens of thousands of people in Spain's north formed a human chain stretching for over 120 kilometers demanding independence for Basques.
The demonstrators covered in red-white-green flag joined hands to form a chain linking the Basque town of Durango to Pamplona, BBC Russian service reported.
A similar action was held in Catalonia last year when hundreds of thousands of people formed chain calling for Catalonia independence.
