The identity has been determined of the citizen of Armenia who lost his life aboard an airplane which was en route from Yerevan, Armenia, to Krasnodar, Russia. The incident occurred Tuesday evening.

Armenian citizen Arman Galstyan, 28, died minutes before the landing in Krasnodar of the Donavia airline flight No. 5325.

“The airplane landed at the Krasnodar airport at 9:25pm. Before that [, however,]  the ground services were informed that the health of a passenger had grown worse. [After the landing], the physician had gone to the plane, and confirmed the passenger’s death,” the Basel Aero—which controls the Krasnodar International Airport—press service informed LifeNews.

Galstyan’s relatives were waiting for him at the airport, and they informed that the young man had a serious illness and he was coming to Krasnodar for treatment. 

According to preliminary data, Arman Galstyan had died of a heart attack.
