YEREVAN.  – Armenia and Ukraine will probably have to settle economic issues after the first will join Eurasian Economic Union and the second will sign Association Agreement with EU.

Ukrainian Ambassador Ivan Kukhta said there will be some issues that should be settled in bilateral level, first of all those related to economic ties.

He noted that Ukraine and Armenia are members of a free trade zone within CIS, besides there is a free trade agreement signed between the countries.

“The parties will have to make changes to regulatory documents, but I  think the problems are solvable, since Ukraine and Armenia are interested in deepening of economic ties,” Kukhta told reporters in Yerevan.

Armenia plans to join Eurasian Economic Union till July 1, while Ukraine is likely to sign an economic part of Association Agreement with EU on June 27.
