YEREVAN. – A total of 840,000 AMD was raised during the second annual charity exhibition and sale organized by Armenian News-NEWS.am on the occasion of International Children’s Day.

The raised funds will be forwarded to take care of the needs of children from socially vulnerable families of the Karvachar Region.

Talking into account the fact that the children of Karvachar need our support, we decided to continue the action till June 30 and invite our readers to join the charity event. You can participate by sending donation to the following account: 001-253269-001.

The action staged by Armenian News-NEWS.am on June 1 brought together celebrities and politicians who were selling ice-cream to raise funds. The funds raised from the sale of ice-cream and part of the amount raised by handmade sellers will be forwarded to the children of Karvachar.

The action was joined by Ashtarak Kat, Bonilat, Marianna and Tamara companies, Antares publishing house, Terlemezyan College of Fine Arts, Art School after Minas Avetisyan and numerous handmade sellers, including Syrian Armenians.
