YEREVAN. – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko clearly said that Ukraine and Russia should sit down for talks as equal partners, Ukrainian Ambassador Ivan Kukhta said during a press conference on Wednesday.

President Poroshenko had stated Ukraine's geographical location is that neighboring states are Russia and European countries.

“This is reality, and both Ukraine and Russia should agree at the negotiating table,” Ambassador said, quoting Poroshenko.

Asked whether Moscow can return Crimea to Ukraine, he answered in German: “Ich weiß nicht”.

“In his speech President clearly stated that Crimea is and will be a part of Ukraine,” Kukhta added.
