YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 411.67/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.33 drop from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 557.03 (down by AMD 0.69), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.98 (unchanged), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 690.99 (down by AMD 0.59), the Central Bank of Armenia press service informed.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 16,670.11, AMD 251.47, and AMD 19,562.06, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 1 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 411.5/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 411.5/$1.
