YEREVAN. – A criminal case involving relative of Armenian police official will be considered by Erebuni investigation department, the lawyer of defendant told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As reported earlier Sedrak Osipyan, a nephew of Yerevan deputy police chief Valery Osipyan, was charged with causing severe bodily injuries. He may face up to seven years in jail.

“The case will be considered by Erebuni investigation department. I have no update,” lawyer Kromvel Grigoryan said, adding that Osipyan is on wanted list.
