YEREVAN. – The RPA does not reject any proposal by the non-ruling four, ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction Head Vahram Baghdasaryan said at an NA briefing on Friday.
Baghdasaryan stated the aforementioned in response to a query on the four non-ruling NA factions’ (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage) twelve demands from the government.
One of these demands refers to passing to 100-percent proportional parliamentary elections in the country.
Nonetheless, as per the RPA MP, any addition, or any other proposal, in the Election Code can be accepted and discussed.
“Nothing should be ruled out. It’s just that the matters should be discussed one by one,” he stated.
Vahram Baghdasaryan added, however, several RPA-initiated socioeconomic reforms likewise are in line with the proposals by the “parliamentary four.”
