Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stated during a TV speech that official Tehran had reached an agreement with the mediators in the Uranium enrichment talks, and that the sanctions imposed against the country will be lifted.

RIA Novosti news agency of Russia reported the aforementioned citing Reuters news agency.

An agreement was reached, in November 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland, according to which a comprehensive agreement—which guarantees the absence of a military component in Iran’s nuclear program and in return envisions the lifting of the economic sanctions against Iran—should be concluded by July 20.

The Iranian president had stated earlier that his country will do everything to reach an agreement.
