YEREVAN. – Around 40 trucks that have been stuck on Georgia-Russia border will reach Armenia in a day, Armenian Transport Ministry said in a statement.
Transport Minister Gagik Beglaryan visited Georgia to get familiarized on location with the current situation at the Upper Larsi border checkpoint on the Georgia-Russia highway. The road is now open to all types of transport. Representatives of Georgian road department were present, too.
The highway has been closed since May 17 due to a landslide.
