Serving President Juan Manuel Santos has become the winner in the run-off of the presidential elections in Colombia.

With the calculation of the 99 percent of the votes, it became clear that 50.89 percent of the voters cast their ballots in Santos’ favor, whereas his opponent Óscar Iván Zuluaga received 45.06 percent of the votes, Gazeta.ru reported citing Prensa Latina.

The reelected Colombia President will be sworn in on August 7.
